I am surprised in a very positive way. After reading quite often that it can take quite some time (one to two weeks) to get approved to have your Podcast listed on iTunes, I started the application process for the Worst Comic Ever Podcast with Unfunny Fritz on wednesday, december 7th (9:49 pm) and was hoping that perhaps around Christmas we are up and running and can release the first proper Episode of the Worst Comic Ever as a Christmas Special. I was so wrong. Exactly 2 hours and 8 minutes later the Worst Comic Ever Podcast was already approved by iTunes! The direct link is https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/worst-comic-ever/id1183974073
I would have never expected that it would happen so quickly!
A very similar experience happened with our application to be listed on Stitcher. Half a day after submitting the application, the Worst Comic Ever Podcast with Unfunny Fritz was already approved and can be found here: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/unfunny-fritz/worst-comic-ever
I am just happy with the quick progress – now I just have to figure out how to get the Worst Comic Ever Podcast onto Google Music, but until now Google doesn’t want to deal with German IP addresses for signing up Podcasts. VPN, here we come or something like that 🙂
