Sometimes things don’t work out the way you think they will. After the issues I described in an earlier post with Blubrry, the switch to Libsyn wasn’t really successful. While LibSyn’s interface looked a lot nicer than Blubrry, LibSyn just didn’t want to create a proper working XML file for the podcast feed. So now I had to do quite some background work and with the help of the Simple Podcast Press Plugin and the Podlove Plugin got the podcast now running properly on our own server.
And as the newly released episode 3 last night showed, this setup appears to be working, since it new episode was available via Overcast and also iTunes in no time. Now let’s just hope that it will continue to work so good and I can invest more time in producing content and not background stuff.
