After getting the documents from the notary from our mailbox, we were finally able to proceed with the next step, we could finally apply for our business bank account. To get this business bank account rather quickly was quite important, because without that you can’t continue the founding process and the notary won’t send the data to the appropriate places for getting listed in the commercial register.
Since we love to travel, we tried to optimize our bank account application as much as possible and applied for a business bank account with the Postbank, using a link from their partner AirBerlin. This will not only provide us with a free business account for the first year, but also with 20.000 miles.
After filing the application we had to wait a few days, present them with some more documents concerning our company and then we were approved 🙂
We (Panda and Penguin) had the most fun when Florian had to go to the post office to pick up a registered letter concerning the bank account and was asked if he is Panda or Penguin. It was quite hard for him not to reply with “Look at me, I am as choppy as Panda and as Penguin”, but with Germans you never know about their sense of humor. 😉
